3/27/12- Comp Cams Named as Title Sponsor for the Top 32 Shootout at the .90 Nationals
Competition Cams has signed on as the primary sponsor of the .90 “Top 32 Shootout” on Friday, June 8th at Numidia Dragway in Numidia, Pa. This is a special race-within-a-race that is open to all Super Comp, Super Gas & Super Street competitors that are attending the .90 Nationals on June 9th. There will be three separate races held on that evening (1 per class) with each winner pocketing $1,000 along with product gift certificates from Comp Cams and their related companies.
Since there is no actual qualifying for the Top 32 Shootout, entries for the event will be on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 3:00 pm on Friday afternoon at the base of the tower. The entry fee for the event will be $75.00 and will pay back to the 3rd round loser. Once the free Test & Tune is completed at 4:00 pm, the 1st round of the “Shootout” will begin. A time shot might be allotted; that will be determined by how much free there is so it will be important to attend the free Test & Tune. First Round will be random drawing and be run along with a special CIC Race for the Stock/Super Stock cars that are in attendance for the 2nd Annual “Combo in the Hills” event.
